Hurricane Helene

Another off-topic week, but I felt this needed to be discussed immediately.

Hurricane Helene has torn through southern America, destroying everything in its wake. Its powerful blasts of 130 mph winds and record flooding never previously seen have left communities in ruin. Submerged homes, displaced families, and washed-out resources have destroyed everything in a single moment. The calls for emergency services are so high, which also means the need for immediate assistance is overwhelming. Now is the time for us to come together and help the victims of this disaster.

Every little bit helps in times like these. If you're in a position to donate, please consider a contribution to the organizations on the front lines of disaster relief. The Red Cross is active in response to the crisis, providing shelter, food, and medical care to people. You can also donate directly to the GlobalGiving Hurricane Relief Fund, which goes directly to local charities on the ground.
